Sallah: Chief Adeniyi Ajayi, Eletu Of Oke Eletu Urges Nigerians To Pray For Peace, Progress

Chief Adeniyi Ajayi, the Eletu of Oke Eletu in Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division, Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria, has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the unity, peace.and progress of the country.

Eletu stated this at Oke Eletu on Sunday shortly after observing the Sallah prayers at Oke Eletu praying ground along Ijede road to mark the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir.

Alhaji Soyiga, Chief Imam Oke Eletu central Mosque led the Sallah prayer.

“Today, my message is very simple, let us continue to pray for unity, peace, and progress of our dear country. It is only through this, that we can live in a country of our dream”, he said.

“Let us continue to hope and pray for the country. We must also at all times pray for our leaders to starting from President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, Hon. Babajimi Benson, royal fathers, our Council Chairmen and other elected and appointed representatives.

He also urged people to live a life of sacrifice as done by Prophet Ibrahim in the Holy Quran.

He said the Eid-el Kabir was all about sacrifice and that Nigerians should show commitment to making the country better.
